The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Katelynn Rossiter, who had seven digs and two aces. She has been hot, having also posted 19 or more assists the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Morgan Starr, who had 11 digs.
Meanwhile, New Creation Christian Academy earned a 3-1 victory over Konos Academy on Monday.
New Creation Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 27-25, 26-24, 25-18.
Creekside Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for New Creation Christian Academy, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-5.
Creekside Christian Academy took their victory against New Creation Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
