Last Friday, Tomahawk took a serious blow against Mosinee, falling 109-26. Tomahawk was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 77-12.
Phillips won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 87-53 loss at the hands of Marathon. Phillips has struggled against Marathon recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Tomahawk dropped their record down to 0-19-1 with that loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Phillips, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
