After a string of seven wins, Vista PEAK Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thomas Jefferson Spartans. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.
Vista PEAK Prep started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-21.
Tristan Rowley paced Vista PEAK Prep's offense, picking up 22 kills. Rowley got some help from Ein Bamba and his 24 assists. Rowley was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.
