The Humboldt Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They suffered a rough 44-22 loss at the hands of Houston. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Humboldt has scored all season.
Anna lee Avery continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Houston, scoring 22 points. The contest was Avery's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Kinsley Crews was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds.
Humboldt's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Houston, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-3.
Humboldt will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Mitchell at 4:00 p.m. on December 21st. Houston and Kenwood will round out the year against one another at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th at. Kenwood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 364th, while Houston is ranked 74th).
