Ware Shoals is 9-0 against South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The Ware Shoals Hornets will be playing at home against the South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets at 7:00  p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Last Tuesday, Ware Shoals came up short against Dixie  and fell  61-48. While losing is never fun, Ware Shoals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked 251st, while Dixie is ranked 105th).
  Jayce Medlin put forth a good effort for the losing side as  he  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and ten  rebounds. That was a full 41.7% of Ware Shoals' points, marking the fourth time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Jace Stewart, who  scored 12 points along with six  rebounds.
 Meanwhile,  this season hasn't been kind to South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind, who are still winless after their fifth game. They were outmatched by McCormick on the road  and fell  53-13. South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  23-2.
 Ware Shoals' loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 6-9. As for South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
 Everything came up roses for Ware Shoals against South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind in their previous meeting  back in December of 2023 as the  team secured a  56-10 victory. Will Ware Shoals repeat their success,  or does  South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
