Maiden is 10-0 against the Bears since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Maiden Blue Devils will look to defend their home court against the Bunker Hill Bears at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Maiden entered their tilt with the Warriors with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Maiden took down the Warriors 71-53 on Friday.
Maiden relied on the efforts of Lincoln Frasure, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 2 assists, and Raheim Misher, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds. Misher is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cross Arias, who scored six points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Bunker Hill made easy work of the Rebels on Friday and carried off a 72-49 win. The win was just what Bunker Hill needed coming off of a 85-60 loss in their prior game.
Maiden's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Bunker Hill, their win bumped their record up to 5-14.
Maiden strolled past the Bears when the teams last played back in January by a score of 70-54. Does Maiden have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
