New Designs University Park lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nicholas Hambrick, who posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. Hambrick is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Daviandre Davis, who scored nine points and three steals.
Animo Robinson found their leader in sophomore Deandre Kirkpatrick, who almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, nine boards, and ten steals. Those ten steals set a new season-high mark for Kirkpatrick. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Cruz, who went 5 of 8 en route to 10 points and five rebounds.
New Designs University Park's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Animo Robinson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-9.
