The Comets pulled ahead on a
Jacob Spady touchdown pass to
Kyle Craighead, and subsequently went into halftime leading 17-12. The Bombers scored the winning points with a rushing touchdown that came in the third quarter.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 70-3 win for Frederick.
The loss was the third in a row for Hinton. With the win FHS extended its winning streak to three games.
In a 2A District 3 game next week Frederick (3-5) takes on Comanche, and Hinton (3-5) will go up against Hobart also in a 2A District 3 game.
