Crivitz has won three straight games at home, while Manawa has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Wolverines will host the Wolves at 4:30 p.m. Crivitz is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, Crivitz beat Valders 8-5.

Taryn Tracy made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Izzy Wesoloski was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Hattie Frievalt was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Crivitz kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 15 hits in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Manawa made sure to put some runs up on the board against Clintonville on Thursday. The Wolves came out on top against the Truckers by a score of 11-6.
Like Crivitz, Manawa also got a great game from a two-way player: Olivia Zielke. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. Zielke was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Katelyn Krueger was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Callie Pethke, who went 3-for-4 with three runs.
The victory got Manawa back to even at 10-10. As for Crivitz, their win bumped their record up to 21-5.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Crivitz hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .456. However, it's not like Manawa struggles in that department as they've averaged .322. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Crivitz might still be hurting after the 12-3 defeat they got from Manawa in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. Can the Wolverines avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
