The Palatka Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Interlachen Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palatka is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.
Interlachen will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Palatka extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Panthers put the hurt on Crescent City with a sharp 33-1 win. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Skylar Hall and Charla Griffin made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Hall pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Griffin tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. At the plate, Hall went 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base, while Griffin went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits Griffin has posted since back in April of 2025.

Interlachen's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Palatka has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.2 hits per game.
