The contest between South Aiken Baptist Christian and Community Christian Academy wasn't particularly close, with South Aiken Baptist Christian falling 57-43. South Aiken Baptist Christian lost against Community Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 53-41 score last time.
Despite the loss, South Aiken Baptist Christian still got an impressive performance from Colman Smith, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 16 rebounds. Smith scored a full 58.1% of South Aiken Baptist Christian's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Dennis, who scored eight points.
South Aiken Baptist Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Community Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
South Aiken Baptist Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on King Academy at 6:15 p.m. on January 4, 2024. King Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Community Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Laurens Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th.
