In what's become a running theme this season, the Saint Mary's Hall Barons gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding 64-12 victory over TMI-Episcopal at home. Winning may never get old, but Saint Mary's Hall sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Saint Mary's Hall found their leader in underclassman Isabella (Beya) Chase, who scored 29 points along with five steals. Chase is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Florence, who scored 18 points along with five steals.
Saint Mary's Hall's victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.1 points per game. As for TMI-Episcopal, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saint Mary's Hall will take on St. Augustine at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Augustine will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1185th, while Saint Mary's Hall is ranked 170th). As for TMI-Episcopal, they will head out on the road to square off against St. Joseph at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
