Neuse Charter lost to North Duplin back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Cougars blew past the Rebels 3-0. Neuse Charter might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

Ella Malzahn and Iliana Rosales scored all three of Neuse Charter's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

Neuse Charter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those eight games. As for North Duplin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Coincidentally, Neuse Charter and North Duplin will both be playing Lakewood the next time they take the pitch. The Rebels will head out to face the Leopards at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th.
