Danbury can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They skirted past the Monroeville Eagles 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lakers have posted against the Eagles since May 1, 2015.

Danbury let Logan Shepherd and Tyler Harris run wild. Shepherd went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Harris got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Shepherd has posted since back in April.
