The Quad Cities Christian Eagles can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They blew past Tri-State Christian 67-43. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-20.
It was another big night for Seth Karl, who scored 21 points along with five assists and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Zeke Agbezouhlon, who scored nine points along with five steals.
When it comes to explaining why Tri-State Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Will Cunningham. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. Nick Vannorsdel was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Quad Cities Christian has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Tri-State Christian, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.
Quad Cities Christian will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Rivermont Collegiate at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Tri-State Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. Faith Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games.
