The Wise Pumas won against the Northwestern Wildcats last Thursday with 77 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Wise simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northwestern 77-42 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Wise has managed all season.
Wise's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcus Rustin, who scored 11 points along with three steals. The game was Rustin's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Jackson, who scored 14 points.
The victory (which was Wise's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.3 points per game. As for Northwestern, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Wise will head out on the road to face off against DuVal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwestern, they will be playing at home against Suitland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
