Conifer dropped their record down to 7-10 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the D'Evelyn Jaguars, falling 14-5. The Lobos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 8-6.

Dillon Tracy made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Luke Adams, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

As for D'Evelyn, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games.

On D'Evelyn's side, Marshall Pharris and Leo Vigil did most of the damage at the plate: Pharris went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Vigil went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Vigil is becoming a predictor of the Jaguars' success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 3-11 when he doesn't). Cameron McLetchie also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
