After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stillwater, the North Polars were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They took down Hill-Murray 67-50. That's another feather in the cap for North, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Brevin Conway was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alex Rodriguez, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
The victory got North back to even at 5-5-1. As for Hill-Murray, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 6-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North will take on South St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South St. Paul has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 562 points over their last eight games. As for Hill-Murray, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Simley at 7:00 p.m. Simley has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 13.
