Capital never let their opponents score on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Santa Fe Demons with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Brooklyn Cardenas, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadyn Padilla, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Capital's victory bumped their record up to 10-6-1. As for Santa Fe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Capital will host Taos at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Santa Fe, they will face off against Manzano at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
