A Season-Best Performance from Robert Grenga Leads Ponaganset over Hope/St. Patrick Academy
Robert Grenga produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Ponaganset to the win on Saturday. Grenga threw for 119 yards and four touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown.
The win for Ponaganset keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Grenga and Ponaganset will welcome Rogers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jacob Soulliere was a major factor in Pilgrim's win over East Greenwich on Saturday. Nobody could stop Soulliere as he rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
For the year, Soulliere has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 92.6 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 35 rushing yards per game.

Jerry Pimental Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Mt. Hope was led to victory by Jerry Pimental, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Pimental rushed for 203 yards while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Mt. Hope's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. They and Stafford/Somers/East Windsor will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
