Valley View relied on the efforts of Caden Henson - qb 2024, who threw for 243 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt, and Micah Valenti, who gained 217 total yards and three touchdowns. Valenti was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 66 yards.
Purcell Marian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Valley View, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
