On Thursday, the Hope Blue Wave strolled past the Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE with points to spare, taking the game 61-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Wave.

The victory got Hope back to even at 5-5. As for Blackstone Valley Prep, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hope won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cranston East at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hope knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Cranston East likes a good challenge. As for Blackstone Valley Prep, they will challenge Providence Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
