Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cardinal Newman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noelle Coyne, who almost dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 steals. Coyne is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Katie Kent, who scored 24 points along with 3 blocks.
Trinity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cardinal Newman, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy is on the road again on Thursday and play against American Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Cardinal Newman, they will face off against Jensen Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Jensen Beach focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
