Softball Recap: Morgan Wins Going Away Against Maysville

Morgan not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 22nd. They blew past the Maysville Panthers 15-1. The Raiders have beaten the Panthers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Morgan got a big performance out of Chloe Baker, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Remington Keirns, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Morgan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .561. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Maysville only posted an OBP of .167.

Morgan now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Maysville, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Morgan will challenge New Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Maysville, they will be playing at home against Philo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
