It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mars Hill Bible had no problem doing just that  on Monday. They walked away with  a   4-0  victory over the Whitesburg Christian Academy Warriors. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Not much got past  Kelsie McDaniel, who gave up just  a  hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Whitesburg Christian Academy off the board. McDaniel has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Lila Embry was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Molly Wright, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run.
Mars Hill Bible pushed their record up to 35-11 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Whitesburg Christian Academy, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record  this season.
 Mars Hill Bible has already played their next matchup,  a  4-2  loss against Winfield on the 5th. As for Whitesburg Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  12-0  defeat against Rogers on the 5th.
