The Follett Panthers only won by three when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 27-point they dealt the Kelton Lions on Friday. Follett claimed a resounding 38-11 victory over Kelton on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Follett has posted since November 20, 2023.
Follett's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reyna Rosales, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kambri Braley, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Follett has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Kelton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Fort Elliott the next time they take the court. Kelton will head out to face Fort Elliott at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Follett will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
