Wolcott dropped down to 7-7 on Monday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Naugatuck Greyhounds, falling 11-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 back in April.

As for Naugatuck, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the game before.

For Naugatuck's part, Dylan Accetura was excellent, going 1-for-5 with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave Accetura a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of JJ Rumble, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wolcott will face off against rival Ansonia at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Naugatuck is set to take on their familiar foe Seymour at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
