It was a good run, but the Brazosport Christian Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 51-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bay Area Christian. Brazosport Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bay Area Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Despite the loss, Brazosport Christian still got an impressive performance from Elijah Burris, who scored 17 points along with 5 steals. Logan Speed was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Brazosport Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Bay Area Christian, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Brazosport Christian will head out on the road to face off against Faith West Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Faith West Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Bay Area Christian, they will face off against Calvary Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
