The Green Ridge Tigers suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 69-43 defeat at the hands of Tipton. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Green Ridge in their matchups with Tipton: they've now lost three in a row.
Tipton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dane Schlotzhauer, who scored 22 points. Lucas Cashman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Green Ridge's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Tipton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Green Ridge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Smithton at 5:30 p.m. on February 5th. As for Tipton, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Windsor at 7:30 p.m.
