The Weatherford Christian Lions lost against the Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Weatherford Christian was dealt a 73-46 defeat at the hands of Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Weatherford Christian has scored all season.
Leading Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool to victory were Isaac Aguilar and Toby Pike. Aguilar scored 22 points along with three steals, while Pike dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Pike's 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Hale, who scored nine points along with four steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Weatherford Christian and nudges their season record down to 2-8. As for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weatherford Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Covenant Classical at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Covenant Classical is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool is on the road again on Saturday and play against Fort Worth THESA at 2:45 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Fort Worth THESA focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Tuesday.
