There's no place like home for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Cleveland Central Catholic Ironmen on Monday as they made off with a 15-5 victory. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Ironmen: they've now won five in a row.

Al Sustarsic and Jaden Fort did most of the damage at the plate: Sustarsic went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI, while Fort scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. John Vuraich was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Villa Angela-St. Joseph now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cleveland Central Catholic, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Villa Angela-St. Joseph will venture away from home to take on Archbishop Hoban at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
