The biggest upset of the week belonged to Heritage, who took down 236th ranked Antioch, 28-26.
Deer Valley's Shane Pooler rumbled for the longest rushing play in Bay Valley this season in his game against Liberty last week. Pooler's team beat the Lions as he sprinted for 84 yards on the play and finished with 120 in all.
Corey Desrosiers was the best wideout in the league this week as the Panthers fell to the Patriots. Desrosiers racked up five receptions for 126 yards. Cheron Garner helped Antioch's passing attack out by catching two balls for 29 yards.
Harris Ross was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 169 yards on 14 carries as Pittsburg lost to Heritage. JAMAL LOCKETT also contributed to the rushing game with 110 yards on the ground.
Hunter Karnthong provided a threat through the air and on the ground as John Lucido's team lost to Jeff Haagenson's team. He completed 11 passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 151 yards.
Dante Mayes put up the best numbers through the air as Freedom defeated the Pirates. He finished with 14 completions for 245 yards and four touchdowns. Mayes' favorite target this week was Nenwon Gbilia, who caught two passes for 112 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Nsimba Webster of Deer Valley is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1499. He has also thrown 20 touchdowns. On the ground, the Panthers' Elbert Hamilton Jr. has rushed for 1029 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Darrell Daniels. The Freedom star has 26 catches for 492 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Falcons take on Antioch. Freedom is currently in second, while the Panthers are in third.
Webster and LaVelle Hamlin provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Liberty. The connection went for 79 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
