After three games on the road, Wesley Chapel is heading back home. After each having a week off, they and the Hollins Royals will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wesley Chapel is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 73-0 victory over Anclote on the road. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.
Tavion Cousin had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 84 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Holley, who rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.

Meanwhile, Hollins was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Weeki Wachee on the road and fell 48-12.
Although Hollins took the loss, they still got scores from Bobby Mcaffee and Devlon Parker.
Wesley Chapel's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. As for Hollins, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
Wesley Chapel came up short against Hollins in their previous matchup back in May of 2021, falling 14-7. Can Wesley Chapel avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
