After losing to the West Washington Senators the last time they met, the Trinity Lutheran Cougars decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Trinity Lutheran came out on top against West Washington by a score of 58-46 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Trinity Lutheran.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trinity Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hudson Lang, who scored 15 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Levi Pottschmidt, who scored 12 points.
Trinity Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for West Washington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Lutheran will challenge Clarksville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Washington will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Perry Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
