Flagstaff's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past Estrella Foothills 15-0.
Mia Garcia looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mayla Speer was incredible, firing off four doubles, three runs, and two RBI while going 4-for-4. Those four doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryleigh Alex, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Flagstaff always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Estrella Foothills only posted an OBP of .294.
Meanwhile, Coconino made easy work of Bradshaw Mountain on Thursday and carried off an 8-1 victory.
Jade Sandoval spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up eight Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Summer Rhodes, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Waters, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Flagstaff's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Coconino, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Flagstaff hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .392. However, it's not like Coconino struggles in that department as they've averaged .351. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Flagstaff might still be hurting after the 17-5 loss they got from Coconino in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
