The Prout Crusaders will face off against the South Kingstown Rebels at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Prout is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Prout turned things around against Smithfield on Monday. They came out on top against the Sentinels by a score of 9-5.
Lucy Kaiser made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Kaiser was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Kelsea Flaherty was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two).
