After two weeks on the road, Quinter is heading back home. On Friday they take on Wheatland-Grinnell at 7:00 PM. The two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Quinter and four for Wheatland-Grinnell.
Quinter took a serious blow against Wallace County last Friday, falling 0-48.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Wheatland-Grinnell lost to Greeley County, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-48. Wheatland-Grinnell were down by 6-36 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
