State Line HomeSchool R is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Lynchburg HomeSchool last Saturday as State Line HomeSchool R made off with a 63-43 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Rush have posted since November 16, 2024.

State Line HomeSchool R's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ellie Gillespie led the charge by going 8 of 18 on her way to 20 points and five rebounds. Those 20 points gave Gillespie a new career-high. Aden Clark was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards.
Meanwhile, Mountain Mission was able to grind out a solid win over Pike County Central on Saturday, taking the game 66-59.
Mountain Mission's win came from a few key players State Line HomeSchool R will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Annah Chacha, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 17 rebounds. The matchup was her third in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Gladness Peter, who went 10 for 13 to rack up 20 points and eight boards.
Mountain Mission has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for State Line HomeSchool R, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: State Line HomeSchool R has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 25.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Mountain Mission struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
State Line HomeSchool R didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Mountain Mission in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 51-46 victory.
