Guerin Catholic has struggled against University recently, as their contest on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
University's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mackenzie Feeney, who scored five points along with ten rebounds and seven steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for her. Keira Bright was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds.
Guerin Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for University, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
