Wake Christian Academy entered their tilt with GRACE Christian on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the GRACE Christian Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. With that victory, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Carter Collins made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Collins was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

In other pitching news, Avery McArthur looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Back at the plate, Will Curry was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Trace Turner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Wake Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in three consecutive games.

Wake Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for GRACE Christian, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Wake Christian Academy will face off against Ravenscroft at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Ravenscroft is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season. GRACE Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Franklin Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th.
