The West Holt Huskies came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to Niobrara/Verdigre for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-23 win at home. West Holt has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Lincoln Konrad, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Crumrine, who scored ten points along with three steals.
West Holt's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Holt will take on St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully St. Mary's focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Boyd County at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
