The Villages Charter Buffalo will challenge the IMG Academy Blue Ascenders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with The Villages Charter sitting on six straight wins and IMG Academy Blue on three.
If The Villages Charter beats IMG Academy Blue with three runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Buffalo beat Horizon on Wednesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-2.
Lincoln Gagne spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits.
