Ferris is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand North Dallas a 15-0 shutout. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Landri Davis was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Tori Cook was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrie Henson, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Ferris hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 6-1-2 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Sanger waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Panthers.
Leala Kloewer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits and racked up eight Ks.
At the plate, Dalilah Millan was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Wilson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.
Ferris' victory bumped their record up to 14-12-2. As for Sanger, their win bumped their record up to 17-7-3.
Ferris' speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's matchup. The Yellowjackets have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game.
