After two games on the road, Madison is heading back home. They will take on the Clinton Redwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 181 points over their last three matchups.
Last Thursday, Madison sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-54 victory over Hillsdale.
Antonio Nieto was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with three steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Jayden Saad, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Clinton won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They were beaten by Dundee 70-43. While losing is never fun, Clinton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 397th, while Dundee is ranked 101st).
Madison's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-10. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Clinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
Madison ended up a good deal behind Clinton in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, losing 72-56. Will Madison have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
