Tyler Legacy is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since October 25, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Rockwall-Heath. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Raiders haven't been shut out since back in August.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-18.
Meanwhile, Rockwall came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs.
Rockwall walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 21-25, 25-17, 25-19.
Tyler Legacy better focus on containing Ashtyn Werth and Ainsley Edgington as the pair were huge in Rockwall's win. Werth had 17 digs and one assist, while Edgington hit 83.3% for five kills and 52 assists and 12 digs. Those five kills gave Edgington a new career-high.
Rockwall was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.
Rockwall's victory bumped their record up to 25-15. As for Tyler Legacy, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-8.
Tyler Legacy came up short against Rockwall when the teams last played back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
