Curie can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Goode STEM Academy Knights 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Condors have posted against the Knights since May 9, 2022.

Curie's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Goode STEM Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Curie wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Hyde Park on the 30th. Goode STEM Academy has also already played their next contest (against Back of the Yards College Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
