North Montgomery fell 54-42 to the Gophers on Thursday. While losing is never fun, North Montgomery can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Gophers are ranked 106th).
Cameron Enlow and Kelby Harwood certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Enlow went 7 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 1 assist, while Harwood scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and eight assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Enlow has scored all season.
North Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Clinton Prairie, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Montgomery will take on the Hot Dogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clinton Prairie, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Titans at 2:00 p.m. Taylor is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
