The Destin Sharks can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They breezed by Bronson on the road to the tune of 75-37. The victory was just what Destin needed coming off of a 73-50 loss in their prior game.
Destin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryson Nixon, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Traiton Mauffray was another key contributor, dropping a triple-double on 12 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists.
Destin now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Bronson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Destin and Chiefland will face off at 4:30 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bronson and Hilliard will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hilliard presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bronson in Florida (Hilliard is ranked 206th, while Bronson is ranked 562nd).
