West Clermont has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against The Milford Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Last Friday, West Clermont had to suffer through a rough 50-5 loss at the hands of Anderson. While losing is never fun, West Clermont can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while Anderson is ranked 15th).
Meanwhile, Milford put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They didn't even let Winton Woods onto the board and left with a 3-0 win.
Milford's win bumped their season record to 8-0 while West Clermont's defeat dropped theirs to 3-5.
West Clermont and Milford were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in October of 2022, but West Clermont came up empty-handed after a 27-26 defeat. Can West Clermont avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
