Union had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. Everything went their way against the New Haven Shamrocks as they made off with a 13-1 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Union pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for New Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
